What a fun two days we had at Disneyland. The girls even got to see Santa in his Aloha shirt and sun glasses. Kassie went right up to Santa but Katie took a bit of convincing. Katie is a bit shy around the characters at Disneyland but I guess that is the age.

We spent two whole days at the park and on the second day my girls got a real treat as we ran into Katie's BFF (best friend forever) and they got to hang out and go on the rides for a few hours before we had to say goodbye.

Christmas Shopping

Wow - Christmas shopping anyone? Tis the season and I am getting close to finishing up my shopping for another year. We always have so much fun shopping. Well, that is until one of our younger ones decides that they are done shopping. Today we finished up shopping for my family, Jenny still needs to get things for her family, and we have some more things to get for our immediate family.

Tomorrow we are headed off to Disneyland and for a special family treat we will be staying in a hotel over night and going to Knott's Berry Farm the following day.

My First Blog Entry

This is my first blog and I'm not sure if I will be able to continue or not, as I'm not prone to writing. The intent of this blog is to journal and create a general historical record of my family. Why? Life is short and last night, while sitting around the table enjoying some pizza with some old friends and reminiscing I realized how hard it is to remember the things of the past.
